Deep in the catacombs below the lost city of Kor dwelt an ancient sorceress Ayesha, whose beauty was so great that it enchanted all who beheld it filling them with desire and fear. She had learnt the secrets of immortality, how to enter the minds of other and how to heal with a mere touch, yet she was unable to see into the future. Through her long existences she awaited the reincarnation of her lover, who aeons ago she had slain in a jealous rage. Upon meeting an unwitting explorer from the empire of a foreign queen, she at last saw her lost love and beseeched him to pass through a primal pillar of fire so they both could be conjoined in immortality. Alas, as Ayesha stepped into the flame for a second immersion her life-preserving power were lost and she began to wither and revert to her true age. All that remained was a skull and a whisper on the wind 'Forget me not, for I shall rise again'.
